Thomas Maas
Thomas Maas is an experienced, well-respected criminal defense attorney who earned his reputation through his skill in search and seizure cases and trial preparation. Having practiced in Solano County and Napa County for more than 12 years and Yolo, Contra Costa, and Sacramento counties the past three years has established his ability to fight for and secure justice for his clients in the local Superior Courts. As co-founder of the Maas Law Offices, Thomas Maas is committed to providing each client with exceptional service and representation throughout each phase of the criminal process.
Attorney Maas received his J.D. from Golden Gate University in 1997. He is a member of the State Bar of California, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the California Public Defenders Association.
Jaye Ryan-Maas
Jaye Ryan-Maas, co-founder of the Maas Law Offices, is an aggressive criminal defense attorney who is dedicated to obtaining the best possible outcome for each of her clients.
Aside from being a skilled criminal defense lawyer, Mrs. Maas is a trained scientist with extensive experience in the field of forensic science. With her prior training as a scientist, Jaye-Ryan Maas has an impressive record of challenging forensic evidence and professional opinions that are often presented by the Government in an attempt to seek conviction of her clients.
Attorney Jaye Ryan-Maas received her J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles in 1997. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, and the California Public Defenders Association.
Will Maas
William Maas has nearly 30 years of criminal trial experience, having handled three capital murder cases, numerous other murder cases, sex cases, and hundreds of other extremely serious felony and misdemeanor cases, as well as juvenile and mental health matters. His many high profile clients have included notorious San Francisco pornographers, The Mitchell Brothers--Jim and Artie Mitchell whom Time Magazine labeled, “The Potentates of Porn,” Joshua Rudiger, San Francisco’s “Vampire Slayer,” and Marcos Ranjel, arrested in the “Pink Tarantula Beauty Parlor” case, after he was featured on the “America’s Most Wanted” television show. Ranjel’s murder trial was featured in a 2002 documentary, (shown at film festivals across the nation and aired nationally and locally on the PBS television), titled, “Presumed Guilty.”
William received his B.A. in English, where he graduated “With Distinction,” Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Iowa in 1972. He received an M.A. in English and an Ed.S. in Education from Iowa, earning a 4.0 grade point average, and being awarded a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship. William went on to get his J.D. from John F. Kennedy University Law School in 1979, graduating first in his class, and being awarded the C.J.S. Award for Outstanding Scholarship, and Am.Jur. Prize for Significant Contributions to Scholarship. William taught Legal Analysis and Writing for three years at Kennedy Law School, and has been a guest lecturer and mock trial judge at Golden Gate University Law School and Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
Katie Eleccion
Katie Eleccion is a dedicated criminal defense attorney who always strives to protect her clients from unjust prosecution. Mrs. Eleccion uses her knowledge of the criminal justice system to help guide her clients through the complex stages of resolving criminal charges, including vigorous advocacy at trial, arguing motions that may result in dismissal of charges or negotiating plea deals. Ms. Eleccion began her career in Napa County Superior Court and has expanded into Solano County the past two years. During the entire process Mrs. Eleccion prides herself on communicating with her clients to help present their cases to the courts and prosecutors and ensure her clients understand the proceedings. Carol Long
Carol Long is an experienced, tenacious attorney who has dedicated her career to fighting for her clients accused of crime for almost 14 years. Ms. Long is well-known and respected for her diligence and heart inside and outside the courtroom. She brings commitment, compassion and determination in her representation of all her clients.
Ms. Long began her career in Tulare and Stanislaus County Superior Courts, and has fought for justice for her clients in Solano County for the last ten years. Ms. Long joined the Maas Law Offices in 2010 and continues to earn the respect of her peers and her clients.
